The Government of Kazakhstan has approved the Action Plan for the National Strategy "Digital Qazaqstan to 2029," signed by Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov. Digital infrastructure development has been named a key priority, with Data Center Valley at its center.
The project is designed to attract global technology and cloud partners to Kazakhstan, deploy modern computing capacity, and build the foundation for large scale AI adoption. This will expand the country's ability to process and store data domestically, launch new AI services, and grow the national digital industry.
Data Center Valley's inclusion in a national strategy of this scale reflects the growing importance of local, sovereign digital infrastructure, not just for Kazakhstan, but as a signal to international partners looking to invest in the region's AI and cloud future.
